I have a question concerning easements. Does Georgia recognize Easements En Gross? Which is an easement attached to a name, not a piece of property. I have a draft survey where an 8-acre parcel is being bought. The parcel has a driveway going through it to access another 12-acre parcel. A Will is involved. The person buying the 8-acre parcel will inherit the 12-acre parcel upon the current owners death. My survey shows the 8-acres with the improvements including the driveway that accesses the 12-acre tract. I have a letter from an attorney stating that the driveway is active as long as the current owner is alive.

I've looked for information that is State specific with no luck so far.
