<description><![CDATA[<p class="Standard">Robert M. “Bob” Buhler, age 93, PLS # 1403, passed away on April 6, 2023 at his home in Katy, Texas.<span>&nbsp; </span>In 1953, after graduating from NC State University, Bob began his career as a land surveyor in North Carolina, starting his own business in 1957 in Graham, NC.<span>&nbsp; </span>He held the office of County Land Surveyor for Alamance Co. from 1958 until 1963, when he obtained his Georgia license and moved to Conyers, GA.<span>&nbsp; </span>In 1964 he started his own land surveying business and retired in 2010.<span>&nbsp; </span>Throughout his career in Georgia, Bob was a member of SAMSOG, and served for a period of time as the President of the Atlanta Chapter.<span>&nbsp; </span>Over the 47 years that he was in business in Conyers, seven of his employees went on to become PLS’s.</p>]]></description>
