Well guys you can add us to the list of people who have had an instrument stolen today. At 10:50 a.m. on a construction site on Bolton Drive and Marietta Blvd. (Fulton County/City of Atlanta) our crew was around 200 ft from the instrument staking off some storm structures down a hill and naturally used a higher rod to stake the two stakes that needed to go in. On the second stake the instrument lost communication and they looked back at the instrument and it and the tripod were gone. Bolton Drive is currently all a construction site as everything is being regraded. So there are pile of dirt plus the fact that the grade change is enough they could not see a vehicle going down Bolton Drive from where they were. Anyways everyone be careful with your equipment we are going to have to get more creative in how and where we set control to try and deter this from happening again.
