This posted on behalf of Mr. Dan Crumpton from Warrenton, GA -

I am scheduled to give a short demonstration on old time surveying on 22nd Sept to the Jackson County Historical Society annual picnic at Hurricane Shoals State Park. I would like to purchase a Dietzen or K&E staff compass, flip cross-hair and peep scope, and leather, belt clip carrying case; and Jacob staff, circa 1950-1960; also an old red and white range pole. I gave my old one to Georgia Museum of Surveying and. Mapping at Thronateeska Heritage Center in Albany. I started out using one of these in 1957, surveying for Gair Woodlands Corp. in Swainsboro. Many thanks, Dan Crumpton,RLS,, email dan@crumptonplats.com. 706 465 9919.
