Full Member
     Any person who holds a valid Land Surveyor registration in any state or territory of the USA whose registration laws are in substantial agreement with the Georgia State Act or Photogrammetric license.
Associate Member
     Any person who holds a valid Land Surveyor in Training certification.
Emeritus Member
     Any member who (1) has reached the age of 65, (2) has retired from active practice, and (3) has been a member of the Society for 15 or more consecutive years may apply for Emeritus Membership subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Student Member
     Any person pursuing a course of study as a graduate or undergraduate student on a full-time basis leading to a career in the profession of surveying and mapping or an associated field.
Affiliate Member
     Members of allied professions or persons with scientific or technological experience in the field of land surveying or in their special pursuit to qualify them to cooperate with members of the Society in the advancement of professional knowledge and practice in surveying and mapping, who might not otherwise qualify for corporate membership in the Society.
Auxiliary Member
     Reserved for spouses or significant others of any member of the Society. Said membership shall be non-voting.
Sustaining Member
     Any commercial or professional institution or individual interested or engaged in surveying and mapping, the manufacture of instruments or equipment for this work, or the production or compiliation of maps.
Charter Member
     Those Registered Land Surveyors registered in the State of GA whose applications for membership were received before January 1, 1948.
Retired
     Any member who has reached the age of 65 and who has retired from active practice, and whose license has been placed on inactive status (or as worded by the State Board of Registration).
