Georgia Museum of Surveying Mapping Faces Closing
Share |

The Georgia Museum of Surveying and Mapping (GAMOSAM) is relocating to The Thronateeska Heritage Center, 100 West Roosevelt Avenue, Albany, GA 31701.

The GAMOSAM Trustees voted to make this move in an effort to get more exposure and to take advantage of an existing facility. The Thronateeska Heritage Center has been operating for 12 years.  It has a permanent staff and adequate space to exhibit the expansive collection of Surveying equipment, periodicals, and artifacts.
