2013 Technical Seminar Exhibitor Information

The Annual Technical Seminar for the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia will begin Thursday, January 24, 2013 and continue through Friday, January 26, 2013. The seminar will again be held on the campus of Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.



In an effort to provide as much education and information to our members as possible, SAMSOG will again be offering concurrent sessions known as Resource Training by the Sustaining members on Thursday and Friday. This is your opportunity to have a more quiet session with our members and guests away from the exhibit hall. The available time slots for Resource Training are for one hour each, and are on a first come, first served basis to our booth exhibitors. Please review the Booth Signup Sheet before making your selection; because some of our Sustaining Members have already committed to various sponsorships, some booths have already been reserved.
The topic and information discussed during your allotted time is entirely up to you. All handouts, printed documents, refreshments, audio/visual equipment, etc. are the total responsibility of the Sustaining Member. SAMSOG will advertise the time and place, including topic (which you must furnish) of each Resource Training session. In other words, SAMSOG will provide the time, space and advertising. The rest is up to you.
Additionally, SAMSOG would like to recognize each Sustaining Member exhibiting. During the welcome address on Thursday morning, SAMSOG will announce the names of the known Sustaining member companies at the Seminar. One person from each company will be allotted 3 minutes to introduce their company and its product or service. This is your opportunity to speak to 200 surveyors at one time with no additional cost!
Click here for the Seminar Agenda, an Exhibitor/Resource Training Registration form, Booth Signup Sheet, and a Booth Layout of the exhibit hall. As noted on the Registration form, the office will confirm your Resource Training allotted time and booth assignment upon receipt of your registration form and payment. Upon confirmation you will also receive 2 SPSU Parking Passes; one for loading in your exhibit Wednesday, 1/23/2013 (beginning at 1pm) and the other for the duration of the seminar Thursday, 1/24/2013 and Friday, 1/25/2013 and a campus map directing to you to appropriate lots. SPSU parking attendants will be available Wednesday to assist loading in your exhibit. You will NOT have to use the shipping entrance (like last year).
