Dear SAMSOG Members, Families, and Friends:



It is time to make plans for the 2008 Annual Summer Conference. This year we will be at the Sea Palms Golf and Tennis Resort on St. Simons Island July 17th - 20th. If you have never attended a SAMSOG Meeting, this is the time to start! Our Annual Summer meeting is relaxed and family oriented, equally focusing on education, fellowship and fun.

We will kick off our meeting with the 8th Annual Ski Bashinski Golf Tournament, followed by a low country boil at the local American Legion and sponsored by our friends in the Golden Isles Chapter.


Tom Hurley, Education Committee Chairman; Gary Nevill and Bobby Shupe, Annual Meeting Committee; and Laura Hurley, Auxiliary, have worked hard to make this meeting an event to enjoy and remember.


This is your last opportunity to earn more PDH's through SAMSOG this year. A total of eleven credits will be offered Friday and Saturday featuring some excellent speakers and interesting topics. We will close the meeting Saturday night with a Reception and Silent Auction, followed by dinner and the Installation of our 2008-2009 Officers.


I encourage each of you to take advantage of the many opportunities to be involved in our summer meeting, either through attendance, sponsorship, or auction donation. St. Simons Island is a beautiful destination offering a relaxing beach atmosphere and varied excursions to satisfy anyone. I look forward to seeing you there!
