Gaskins currently has an opening for an experience party chief/ jr. project manager.  Job responsibilities include taking a project from start to finish in the field and office.  Able to direct and train personnel under them.  Hours depend on workload. 

Field qualifications:

Must be proficient with TDS Survey Pro software and importing and exporting points. Experienced in running large and small boundaries, ALTA Surveys, Topos and Construction Layout.  Minimum party chief experience of 3 years.  Able to read, interpret, and ability to compute own points by hand or CAD from civil engineering plans.  Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with engineers, developers, contrators and the general public.

Office qualifications:

Must be proficient with Civil 3D.  Must be able to process field files, adjust traverse, pull topos and set points.  Able to perform boundary resolution.  Experience with reading title reports to show encumbrances for ALTA surveys.  Ability to create own look points for boundary and compute layout points for construction.  Create and maintain as-staked drawings for construction layout and import points daily.  Minimum 1 year in office.
