Our Purpose The Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia, recognizing that service to our Society, to our State, and to our Nation is the fundamental purpose of surveying and mapping, does hereby dedicate itself to the promotion and the protection of the profession and surveying and mapping as a social and economic influence vital to the affairs of men and of the community.
